"Vista Lago", formerly Hotel Larius, was originally built early in the last century. After a full renovation, the hotel was converted to residences with particular attention paid to the finishings and architectural details of its period. There is a shared fitness area (older equipment) and a pool that is typically open and available from May 1 to October 1.
Please take note: The pool is closed from October 1 to mid to end April) and is closed periodically for maintenance.
Two underground parking spaces are available. From the parking space level, the elevator access requires you to go up one flight of stairs to the ground floor where you will find the elevator.
Those that are not comfortable using stairs, can be dropped off at the buildings main entrance. (You will find a curb and one step up to the door) to this ground floor level where you can access the elevator to the 4th floor.
The apartment has be restored, and incorporates beautiful teak in the main living areas and bedrooms, and marble tile from Italian quarries in the bathrooms. All furnishings, appliances, dinnerware are also in good condition and ready for you to enjoy. One single, air conditioning unit in the main living area.
Note: In order for the bedrooms to benefit from the air conditioning, it is best to leave the bedroom doors open during the day.
Layout: Vista Lago is a three bedroom apartment on the top (fourth) floor of a beautiful gated building. The configuration: A two-bedroom area (sleeping 6), full kitchen and 2 baths, with an adjoining single bedroom/studio area (sleeping 2) with its own private kitchen, bath and entrance-- perfect for the Au-Pair or any guests that would like some additional privacy. In total, the space is approximately 1,400 square feet or 135+ square meters.
The two-bedroom area features a large, open kitchen with a center island, a living area with a double sleep sofa and two balconies with a full, frontal view of the lake, a dining area with a glass table seating eight, two bedrooms (with a queen and double bed), each with water-view balconies, and two marble-tiled baths with a shower. (En-suite bath in the primary bedroom has a tub and shower)
The studio/1 bedroom area features spectacular lake-front views from the balcony, double sofa-bed, a 2 person dining table, small efficiency kitchen and full, marble-tiled bath.
