Summary: My husband and I stayed 12 nights in August and it was perfect. Our room was in a classic style, spacious and looked directly out onto the beautiful lake with a large window and also had a separate balcony looking at the lake and garden. The bed was also comfortable and spacious. The bathroom looked modern and new and the shower was good and strong. The buffet breakfast every morning was lovely and had a good variety of options. The grounds of the hotel are amazing - beautiful garden feel with some art structures dotted around. We spent a lot of time at the pool (basically 10am to 6pm) as it was so beautiful and relaxing. The views of the lake and the mountains surrounding Lake Garda are truly spectacular. The service at the pool where you can get drinks and food was excellent. Antonio who works at the pool bar deserves a special mention - always a friendly face and very very efficient, and made me a delicious non-alcoholic juice cocktail off-menu - his own initiative and creation. The walk into Malcesine is really beautiful once you get to the lakeside promenade. The first part is on the main road but that section is very short. In total the walk is probably 20/25 minutes to the centre of Malcesine. Checking in and out was also seamless. I would definitely recommend the hotel and will definitely be back.
