Positive: A beautiful property with lovely gardens surrounding it. We had a garden room which was very pretty and very comfortable. We enjoyed the walk into town, around 20 minutes into the main part and the local beach was lovely. We had lunch at the hotel twice which was very enjoyable.

Negative: I really felt it was overpriced and even though the whole area is generally expensive I felt the hotel, even though it was really lovely, didn’t live up to the price charged! I also thought that the breakfast choice could have been more varied. It was the same every day which became repetitive. The scrambled eggs were overcooked and you had to pay extra if you wanted different eggs, the juice wasn’t fresh, that was also extra, and some of the fruit offered was tinned.

Summary: A beautiful hotel in gorgeous grounds although in my opinion overpriced!
