4 Bedroom Apartment in Santa Maria in Stelle, Lido
Newly restored apartment, in an Art Nouveau villa of three apartments, occupied only by the owners. In a strategic position to visit Venice and the islands, to have the wonderful beaches (5 minutes away), the Film Festival, the Master courses in San Nicolò, the many sports activities, the nature walks.
The apartment is luxuriously furnished, complete with every comfort, conditioned, with free wifi, with TV in every room, in the living room and in the kitchen.
The bedrooms are 4, of these 3 are double and spacious, the fourth is smaller. Ideal for up to 7 people, it can accommodate up to 8. Other emergency beds are available.
Three of the four bathrooms are completely new, with a hydro-massage shower. There is an additional toilet with sinks in a small laundry room that houses the washing machine and cleaning tools (vacuum cleaner, polisher, detergents, rags ....).
The living-dining room has an extendable table that can accommodate up to 12 people, a comfortable sofa for reading or watching television, books.
The main terrace (from which you can see Venice and, among the greenery, San Marco) is equipped and livable for eating, sunbathing, relaxing. There are also two spacious balconies and a small one.
The kitchen, where you can eat, is fully equipped, has a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, 4-burner stove and an electric hob, large oven, electric coffee machine (nespresso), American and coffee maker Italian (mocha) in various sizes, dishes, glasses, cookware, cutlery, etc. The kitchen table seats 4 people.
At guests' disposal there are 8-10 bicycles.
The house, which overlooks a canal, is 10-15 meters from landings for private boats and water taxis.
You enter the apartment, on the first and second floors, through a dedicated area of the garden.
The location is very central, in an extremely quiet area, but a few minutes from beaches (5 on foot), vaporetto (7 on foot) and shops (2-5 on foot). It allows you to experience tourism in Venice (15 minutes by public water transport) leaving behind the crowd and confusion that characterize the historic center at the end of the day, to take refuge in a quiet and relaxing place. The Lido is however interesting in its own right: there are many ancient sites of interest.
The apartment is suitable for couples, groups of friends, families, or people who love being able to combine culture and relaxation, with the many choices offered by a unique city such as Venice, and Lido, with spectacular nature and a whole lot to experience, and a completely informal atmosphere.

The Lido is the largest and most populated island in the Venice lagoon, internationally famous and unique in the world. A few minutes from Venice, kilometers of golden sands and shells, a clean sea (for more than 10 years has been awarded the Blue Flag), with something to satisfy everyone: the elegance of the cabins on the famous beaches, the simplicity of a deck chair and umbrella, or the freedom of the dunes with Mediterranean flora of natural beaches.
How to get there and move around
The Lido can be reached from the mainland by water transport. The Venetian mainland area can be reached from all over the world by car, train, plane or bus.
The only island in the lagoon that can be reached by car by ferryboat from the Tronchetto, at the end of the Ponte della Libertà which connects Venice to the mainland. The journey, of about 30 minutes, gives the passenger the opportunity to see all of Venice in its splendor. Pellestrina is the other island where cars circulate, but you can get there from the Lido.
Arriving at Marco Polo airport, the Lido can be reached by public water transport from Alilaguna or by private water taxi, if the train (S. Lucia railway station) or the bus is used by vaporetto or public motorboat (approx. 30- 60 minutes depending on the journey) or water taxi.
On the island you can move on foot, by car, by bus, by bicycle.

The historic center of Venice (Piazza San Marco, Rialto, Biennale) and its islands (Murano, Burano, Torcello) can be reached in a short time from the stops of the main means of water transport.
By bicycle: the paths along the lagoon included in the 'Venice Islands Cycle Route', in direct contact with the environment and its beauties, allow you to discover lesser known corners and splendid sunsets over the water. You can also go from island to island with the bicycle in tow on the public transport.

Visit Venice, immerse yourself in the heritage of the past or stroll in the famous "Mercerie" for designer shopping and for occasions, find small shops hidden in the streets, or, on the island, practice the beach, fully equipped or free, the equestrian center, the rowing, sailing and Venetian rowing, tennis courts, the famous 18-hole golf course, and other sports centers for all disciplines, cycling, both on the island and in the neighboring islands, visiting the large natural areas Alberoni and San Nicolò (the two ends of the island), where there are different plant and animal species, typical of coastal environments and natural sites for the stopover and wintering of colonial and migratory birds, getting lost in milongas under the stars on the terraces of the Grand Hotels, participate in the International Film Festival in early September and, from May to November, visit the nearby "Venice Art Biennale", og simply get out of the lagoon at sunset.
