Summary: We just returned from a wonderful stay at Villa Raino. Very family friendly, very relaxing, really enjoyed both breakfast and dinner there. The owners were just lovely and it truly felt like a real taste of Italy. Will definitely return!

Summary: Due to problems going up the stairs, staff offered to accommodate us at another hotel they owe in town. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the room. Villa Raino has an excellent restaurant.

Summary: This is a lovely place up in the mountains near Gangi. Very nice poolarea, the rooms are a bit dated but nice. We had dinner at their restaurant and it was good, and cheap! Don't miss a night-trip på Gagni! The people who owned the place was very nice and service minded.

Summary: The hotel is very lovely, with great views of the valley. The only downside is that it is isolated so you have to drive from it to get anywhere, including to restaurants. Although they offer a huge dinner.

Summary: Stayed there for 1 night on a road trip in Sicily.
Warm welcome by the host Aldo and his wife. Hotel setting provides beautiful views of the valley and is within 5-8 mins drive to the quaint hill town of Gangi.
We had some pasta for dinner and breakfast the next morning. The food was just great.
We wished we could have stayed a bit longer to enjoy the surrounding area and the hosts' hospitality a bit more.

Summary: If you are looking for an authentic rustic experience in the Madonie area, this is the place. It is to the Petralie, Castelbuono and the Madonie mountains and is therefore a great base for exploring. This is not an updated renovated villa, but it is a wonderful and comfortable and charming villa none the less. Yes, the rooms are air conditioned and there is a nice pool, but we loved the various wall papers and old furniture and the totally informal but terrific staff. We arrived about 2 pm for our two night stay and were immediately invited for lunch - we were offered some terrific antipasti and a heavenly pasta with ricotta and pancetta. We didn't look any further for restaurants while we stayed here- the cooking and service is that good. Do try the rustic antipasta - you'll be amazed at the rapid-fire delivery of amazing country dishes! Pastas and secondi were excellent, too, and the local wine served in soda bottles is delicious- really! We were overwhelmed at our first dinner at the sheer quantity of food- our waiter told us not to think about it and just eat it, and he was right. The one problem here is that because of its remote location, cell service is very spotty (we had most luck down by the pool with a line of sight to Gagni). The wifi didn't work the whole time we were there, but maybe that's a plus, too.... Oh, and don't trust your gps on the way in. Take the road to Gagni, and turn left just before the fountain on the left just before the town.

Summary: The hotel is really perfect due to loction, views, real casa and the perfect food.
The complete breakfest was on the terrace, overlooking the valley.
I strongly suggest to take the full diner with antipasti, pasta, main course with salad an meat, dessert, fruits, liquor (like lioncella, grappa) including localwine and bottled water for only 25eur.

Summary: I felt like an Italian baroness overlooking her idyllic pastoral domain from her balcony each morning. The hosts were attentive & gracious; the room elegant but non-pretentious; the surrounding views so tranquil & beautiful; the dinners delicious; the pool fresh water. We wish we were still there. It was wonderful!
