Summary: Was not near downtown Florence, so would not suit someone wanting to be near the main attractions, museums etc. but neighborhood was safe and walkable with great gelato and dining options within short walk. We even were able to walk to the train station 35 ish minutes away with luggage for our departure. Property would not suit someone who could not do stairs.
