Casa Falconara is an independent house surrounded by its huge and private fenced garden. It is located in a peaceful rural setting with various farms and cottages at a very short distance from two of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Sicily: Lido di Noto (2 km) and Calamosche (8km).
IN THE AUTUMN OF 2022, THE PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL WILL BE BUILT, READY FOR GUESTS IN MARCH 2023! You can see in the photos how it will look approximately once finalised.
The house consists of a large living room with fireplace and pool table, a kitchen with wood stove/fireplace and two bathrooms with shower. One double bedroom is located on the ground floor. The second and third bedrooms (a double bedroom and a small bedroom with two single beds) are located on the mezzanine level. A lovely covered terrace with comfortable garden furniture will be your perfect relaxation area.
Casa Falconara is the ideal place for both your summer and winter holidays thanks to its fireplace, pellet stove and air conditioning (hot/cold). From here you can easily explore the South and East side of Sicily and enjoy unspoiled beaches like those of Eloro, Vendicari and the previously mentioned Lido di Noto and Calamosche. Lido di Noto also has a cosy promenade with a coffee bar, an ice cream parlour and a few restaurants.
5 km to the west is Noto, a pretty town known for the grandeur of its Baroque buildings. The inhabitants walk every evening at around 6:00 pm on the breathtakingly beautiful main street of this remarkable place. 15 km to the north is Syracuse, one of the most beautiful coastal cities in the Mediterranean, rich in monuments from Greek antiquity. The old city center is located on the Ortygia peninsula.
20 km to the south is Marzamemi, a fishing village with a beautiful center, cozy fish restaurants, pizzerias and evening shops.
N.B.: The fireplace is not an efficient tool for heating up the house. For that there is the pellet stove. You can use the fireplace for creating a nice atmosphere. Wood is not provided.
The pool will be ready in March 2023 and will measure 4x8 metres and be 1.40 cm deep.
