My villa is located 100 meters from the sea and small tongues of sand, 500 meters from the beach of Borgo Marinaro, about 700 meters from the remains of the Vecchia Tonnara di Avola, the place of the old "Mattanza dei tunni" and the old "Maiazzè". warehouses / depots used for tasting and selling typical local products. The house is located in a strategic point because it is in the center of any tourist destination. 2 min from the entrance to the CATANIA-GELA highway, 6 km from NOTO, capital of the Baroque, 6 km from the pristine reserve of the Laghetti di Cavagrande, 15 min from Siracusa-Ortigia and 10 min from Fontane Bianche. 25 km from Marzamemi, the Vendicari reserve, the Calamosche beach and the long San Lorenzo beach. At about 6 km, located in Avola Antica, there are the Cavagrande lakes, an uncontaminated reserve where the ancient river Kakyparis (current Cassibile river) has created it over the millennia by digging deep gorges or canyons at different depths that touch the maximum of 507 m. In the valley floor, a system of small waterfalls and ponds (locally called uruvi) has formed a source of summer refreshment for its numerous visitors who are accessed by an ancient suggestive staircase known as "La Scala Cruci".
