If you will use the car to get to Florence I recommend using a garage because the paid parking spaces are quite expensive and very difficult to find. The closest garage to the apartment is located in Piazza Cestello.

Guests who need to travel within the ZTL area by car to reach our apartment are advised to contact one of the private garages in the center (the one closest to the apartment is located in Piazza del Tiratoio 3 / r) and obtain a temporary access permission. Upon arrival in the garage, guests must specify their need for access to the ZTL and the garage will write down the vehicle number plate and transmit it to the traffic police to avoid fines.
